3rd Jersey Scout Group

The 3rd Jersey (St Saviour) Scout Group welcomes boys and girls from the age of 6 to 14 years old. Our sections meet at the Berni Community Centre, St Martin Public Hall and St Saviour’s Parish Church. We cover the East of the Island, mainly St Martin, Grouville, St Clement and the Parish of St Saviour.

Formed in 1934, there are currently over 130 young people, supported by over 25 adult volunteers, throughout the Group. Each section enjoys a variety of activities based at our halls, on visits or on weekend camps. Providing a fun, varied and adventurous programme to all our young people is paramount, and we pride ourselves on the great family feel to the Group when members are with us.

Our team of enthusiastic leaders run 2 Beaver Colonies, 2 Cub Packs and 1 Scout Troop; we are always delighted to hear from any adults who would like to volunteer some time to support our Group.

The meeting times for our sections are:

  • Fern Colony: Mon 1745 – 1845, Berni Community Centre
  • Thistle Colony: Mon 1745 – 1845, St Saviour’s Parish Church
  • Tigers Pack: Mon 1900 -2030, St Saviour’s Parish Church
  • Wolves Pack: Mon 1900 -2030, Berni Community Centre
  • Scout Troop: Mon 1900 – 2030, St Martin’s Methodist Hall

We look forward to welcoming you to the 3rd Jersey (St Saviour) Scout Group.

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
