Beavers learn the valuable skill of budgeting and shopping!

Last month, Beavers from the 10th Jersey (St Brelade) Scout Group, Oak Beaver Colony visited Waitrose as part of their Money Skills activity badge.
Beavers were tasked with shopping for some items, with the aim for them to be donated to the Salvation Army’s food bank, here in Jersey.
We have heard, that Beavers not only looked very smart and considerate of other shoppers, but also made some very good choices.
Thank you to Waitrose for their support of local Scouting, and well done to all Oak Beavers for donating to this important cause.
