Coronavirus – Jersey Scouts

Date: 11th Mar 2020 Author: Glen Militis

With the fact that Jersey has its first confirmed cases of Coronavirus, Jersey Scouts is keen to reassure its young members and leaders that Scouts will continue to meet as planned. We will continue to monitor the advice given by the Government of Jersey and adjust our stance as the situation evolves. Should a member have been to areas that currently require self-isolation on return to Jersey, they should not be participating in Scouts. This advice currently does not stretch to those who may have come in to contact with those who have had to self-isolate as per Government of Jersey guidance.

For those Groups or Sections planning travel outside the Island, please refer to your insurance company for direction on cover. Unity’s policy on Coronavirus can be found at the following link: Unity Insurance Guidance
